Sault Tribe Board meets Feb. 21 in Sault Ste. Marie.

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. — The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting beginning 5 p.m. on Feb. 21 at the Sault Kewadin Casino, in person or via Zoom, https://zoom.us/j/96906911516.

“Matters Raised by the Membership” will be held at 5 p.m. in person or by virtual attendance. The link is available Sault Tribe website under membership assistance for the meeting link and Membership Form that must be completed. The deadline to submit a form is 1 p.m. on meeting day. On the agenda under Resolutions is: Cultural After School Ojibwe Language, ITC Suicide Prevention, Tribal Court Judicial Services FY 2023 Budget, Intern Program FY 2023 Budget, Accounting FY 2023 Budget, Document 003 FY 2023, 2023 OVW Tribal Government, MIEA Delegate, BIA Lifesavers Conference, Transportation Program Award, and Rescinding Resolution 2022-237.

Under New Business, the Board will consider Notice of Election Timeline, Special Election, Health Grid Tenure Review, Key Employee, Budget Department, and Board Concerns.
