August 3 2024. The Sault Tribe Member Website Portal is coming soon.
In July the Sault Tribe Purchasing Department issued two Request for Proposals one to hire a company to create a tribal member portal along with separate RFP to hire a designer to update the tribe's website.
According to the RFP for the Member Portal the goal is to develop a member website portal to provide users with access to their personal information, personalized access to resources, access to apply for various programs, communication tools and membership management features.
Project objectives for the website portal are to create a secure and user-friendly portal for members, providing tools for membership management for staff, that offers resources and communication features, while ensuring scalability and ease of maintenance.
The Website Redesign Goal is to create a modern, user-friendly website that effectively communicates the tribe's mission, programs, services, and events to tribal members and the broader community. The new site promises to continue to reflect the Sault Tribe’s cultural heritage, while meeting the needs of tribal members, both locally within the seven-county service area, across Michigan and the country.
The tribe will notify members when the website is ready to sign-up members to use the portal.
