Tribal Members are invited to the Mary Murray Culture Camp located at 266 Homestead Rd, on Sugar Island, Michigan for a Ribbon Skirt Workshop Weekend Retreat December 6-8.

Workshop December 7 and December 8, 2024.
Learn how to make a ribbon skirt with teachings from Melissa Causley and Cathy DeVoy.
This is a FREE class - you’ll just have to pay for the Sugar Island Ferry or ride share. All ages welcome.
To register call 906-635-6510. Registration is limited to the first 25 people.
There are sewing machines, with a limited number of sewing supplies.
To make sure you can sew your own ribbon skirt to your liking it is suggested that you bring your own cloth, ribbons, fabric adhesive spray, and thread.
Bring an overnight bag, bedding, and donation of food if you plan on staying on the island for the entire weekend.
